Terms & Conditions
1. Rental Agreement
By confirming a booking with WA CAR HIRE ("we", "us", "our"), you ("the hirer") agree to the terms set out below. These terms govern the rental of any vehicle from our fleet.
2. Eligibility
Drivers must be 21 years or older with a full (non-provisional) licence held for at least 12 months. We may request verification at pick-up.
3. Payment & Bond
A deposit secures your booking. The balance and a credit-card bond are taken at pick-up. Unauthorised charges (tolls, fuel, fines) will be debited to the card on file.
4. Cancellation
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before pick-up. Inside 72 hours, the deposit is retained. No-shows forfeit the full rental.
5. Insurance & Excess
Comprehensive insurance is included. The standard excess is $3,500 and may be reduced by purchasing Premium Insurance at checkout. Certain damage (water, roof, interior) is not covered.
6. Use of Vehicle
Vehicles may not be driven off sealed roads unless specifically permitted for the class hired (4WD bookings only). Interstate travel requires prior approval.
7. Return
Return the vehicle at the agreed time, with a full tank (unless Prepaid Fuel was purchased). Late returns attract an additional day's hire after a 29-minute grace period.
